By joining PTA you will be positively impacting the lives of the children and families of Waples Mill Elementary School by strengthening, enhancing and encouraging educational and social experiences.

Our PTA works to compliment the school’s curriculum with additional resources for the staff and teachers in the classroom setting and for supplemental educational materials and experiences.

Here are just a few things the WMES PTA does to support YOUR CHILD :

• Plan community events, such as Back to school activities, Fall Festival, Fun Run, Book Fair, Dining for Dollars, Enrichment courses and production of the WMES Yearbook;

• Provides the opportunity for students to participate in the school an Spelling Bee Contest;

• Support teachers and staff with additional supplies and materials that help enhance student experiences - books, technology, and equipment;

• Support other student experiences like field trips, 4th grade play, and 6th grade picnic/graduation.
